she died of relitivly old age, she had a genetic defect of sorts. I had her for six years and she never got more than eighteen inches. my new snake is a seven month old nicaraguan common boa.

That is so sad... The Nicaraguan Common Boa is a beautiful snake, and grow quite big... To big for me to handle alone, so I will stay with the Royal (ball) Pythons... :D

I can understand that, not many people look at the full size before they buy. that gets on my nurves.

I have seen that numerous times where people buy babies and when they grow to big they sell or give them away... I have heard of people that release them into the wild and I think it is cruel cause their survival instincts is not as good as the wild snake's instincts... I did my researched beforehand and came across the royal pythons... Not too big and great pets... Helped me with my snake phobia as well.... ;)
